The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

 

Position Summary

The Corporate Communication department manages both external and internal communication to build and enhance the corporate brand and reputation of the NETS Group. This includes media and public relations, stakeholder communication, crisis communication, internal communication, brand governance, sponsorship and CSR.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive an integrated communications strategy that aligns to NETS strategic priorities, working with PR agency partner to deliver the results
  • Partner with business heads to ensure the communication messages align with business priorities and overall communication plans, and delivers a consistent tone of voice and style
  • Partner with internal stakeholders which include HR and recreation committee to build corporate culture and drive high employee engagement
  • Manage the CSR strategy implementation, which includes liasing with charity organisations and facilitating the programme planning
  • Conceptualise and develop engaging content to communicate corporate updates and announcements, including and not limited to newsletters, speeches, broadcast emails, and posts with a high level of proficiency
  • Work with relevant teams to write, edit, and create engaging content including slide presentations, speeches, and other more creative formats (including videos and infographics) that is relevant
  • Custodian of intranet, working with stakeholders to drive usability of intranet as a communications tool as well as overall maintenance of corporate information on external platforms including LinkedIn, corporate website 
  • Event in-charge for all internal and employee related events, as required
  • Be part of the organizing committee for signature sponsorship events such as Singapore Fintech Festival

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Recognised degree with 8- 10 years of experience in marketing communications or corporate communications in a fast-paced environment. Relevant industry is not compulsory but advantageous.
  • Strong writing skills in English with ability to handle long and short form; fluency in an Asian language is a bonus
  • A resourceful, self-driven and goal-oriented professional with a “can-do” attitude, an agile mindset and who is comfortable with juggling multiple deadlines and expectations
  • Possess strong analytical and organisational skills, and the ability to manage and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Comfortable managing stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Possess high EQ and has excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to build good relationships across businesses and functions
  • Desire to learn and understand key business contents for effective communication
  • Able to work independently with a high degree of personal and professional accountability and integrity
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, and commonly used online tools
