Position Overview
The ITSM team ensures BCS ITIL processes are operationally relevant and optimized with sufficient controls, providing Technology Teams with a framework to operate and deliver IT services to our customers. The Asset and Configuration Analyst will be required to track the full life cycle of all IT assets and maintain the corresponding configuration accurately through the ITSM tool within the company. The incumbent will manage the commissioning and disposition of IT assets using industry processes and tools, ensure the business has an accurate view of the company’s technology estate and optimize resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain and communicate/educate the IT asset management policy and processes
- Manage asset discovery processes to ensure up to date and accurate inventory
- Develop and maintain configuration and service mapping across all services
- Track and report key asset life cycle
- Track usage of IT assets across on premise and cloud environments
- Work with IT custodians to maintain procurement interface to Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Coordinate and work with governance team to ensure ongoing compliance to internal processes and policies
- Identify and monitor key risk areas such as technology obsolescence
- Track and report any configuration exception across all services
- Establish the monitoring standards for potential configuration drift related incidents
- Work with Incident Manager on post incident investigation on issues related to configuration drift
- Responsible for responding to all audit matters relating to IT assets and configuration
Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years’ of relevant experience managing IT assets
- Good understanding of current regulatory requirements in Singapore (MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines, MAS Cyber Hygiene and Cybersecurity Code of Practice)
- Attention to details, with the ability to thoroughly and accurately review and track asset & configuration related tasks
- Possess IT Service Management and good CMBD working knowledge
- ServiceNow experience will be a plus
- ITIL certified will be an advantage
