Go-to-Market Strategy Intern, Merchant Business

Date: 5 Nov 2026

Location: Braddell, SG

Company: Network For Electronic Transfers (S)

Position Summary

NETS processes payments for merchants across Singapore, from hawker stalls to large retailers. Our Merchant Business team decides what we launch, how we sell it, and where the next merchants come from. You'll sit between Product and Sales. You'll help turn new products into launches that sales can sell and turn what you hear in the market into what Product builds next. You'll own workstreams end to end, work directly with stakeholders across the business, and present your work to senior management. You'll report to the Lead Associate, Go-To-Market, Merchant Business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive go-to-market for new launches. Build launch plans across our pipeline of digital payments, lending and platform products, covering positioning, packaging, pricing inputs, timelines and readiness across teams.
  • Equip Sales to win. Craft the value proposition, competitive positioning and sales motion for each launch. Turn these into pitch materials, FAQs and training that the sales team will actually use.
  • Bring the market back to Product. Research merchant needs, competitor offerings and market trends, then synthesise them into clear recommendations on which features and products we should build.
  • Fix what slows us down. Diagnose friction in how existing products are sold, onboarded and supported, then design and drive improvements.
  • Open new acquisition channels. Assess and develop growth beyond direct sales, including online channels, partners, platforms and vendors.
  • Own projects. Take initiatives from problem definition to delivery: scope the work, line up stakeholders, track progress and close it out.
