The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Overall Function

The HR Shared Services Associate is responsible for the daily HR Operations and ensuring strict adherence to company policies, labor laws and compliance standards. This role requires a strong focus on auditing HR processes, identifying non-compliance issues and implementing corrective actions to uphold the integrity of the organization’s HR policies and procedures. Additionally, this role will support HR-related projects, ensuring efficiency in execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations Support:

  • Assist in daily operations, including employee records management, benefits administration, HR system updates, screening hit clearance, onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Tracking of mandatory eLearning training for current and new hires
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency in HR Processes
  • Support in managing HR systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Work closely with HR team to streamline HR service delivery and enhance employee experience
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests
  • Any other Ad‐hoc duties

Compliance & Audit:

  • Conduct regular audits of HR transactions, employee records, and other HR-related activities to ensure compliance
  • Develop and implement an internal control system to mitigate risks related
  • Collaborate with internal and external for periodic reviews and follow up on any compliance discrepancies identified

Project Support:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external partners to plan, execute and monitor projects that enhance HR operational efficiency.
  • Participate in project documentation, including status report, UAT and final deliverables, ensuring adherence to compliance standards
  • Continuously evaluate and refine HR processes to identify inefficiencies and develop innovative improvements.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR operations, compliance and/or auditing
  • Experience in HR compliance auditing and risk assessment
  • Demonstrated ability in leading process improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizer and communicator, both written and verbal
  • The flexibility and willingness to learn and take up additional tasks
  • The ability to work independently and enforce policies with authority.
  • Proficiency in HRIS
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with passion to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in supporting HR projects and process improvement is a plus.
