The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

1. Security Architecture Leadership
a. Serve as the subject matter expert for security architecture within the organisation.
b. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that security and compliance levels align with regulations and industry standards.
2. Design and Implementation
a. Design, maintain, and troubleshoot complex security implementations across the organisation.
b. Evaluate existing security posture and recommend enhancements.
c. Implement new software and technologies to protect against intrusion, ensuring continuous monitoring of the overall organisation landscape.
3. Layered Defence Strategy
a. Develop and implement a layered defence approach to security.
b. Define and deploy security controls at multiple levels (network, operating system, application, data, etc.)
c. Ensure redundancy and diversity in security solutions to mitigate single points of failure.
4. Risk Management and Compliance
a. Conduct regular security architecture reviews to identify areas of weakness and develop roadmaps to continuously improve the security posture of the organisation.
b. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organisation’s data security, protection, secrets management, and encryption needs.

c. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
5. Team Leadership and Development
a. Lead and mentor a team of security engineers.
b. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the Security Engineering team.
6. Collaboration and Communication
a. Work closely with management to communicate progress, risks, and securityrelated matters.
b. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to integrate security principles into technology processes and solutions.

 

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Security related fields.
At least 15 years’ of overall working experience, 5 years’ of which as a security architect or equivalent role.

At least 3 years’ of team management experience.
Security certifications such CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, AWS Certified Security ‐ Specialty are highly desirable.
Experience in Security Engineering for Cloud workloads is a must.
