Position Summary

The IT Security Team at BCS ensures the security, availability and resilience of BCS systems, protecting data and mitigating emerging cyber threats in alignment with regulatory requirements.

 

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) unit is a key function within IT Security, responsible to oversee the IAM function within the organisation and deals with provisioning and protecting digital identities and user access permissions in IT systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle access requests for applications, systems, and infrastructure in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Assist with user access provisioning and de provisioning for various systems and applications. 
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure timely and secure account setup and removal. 
  • Help monitor and respond to IAM related service requests or basic incidents. 
  • Participate in periodic access reviews to ensure users have the correct access rights. 
  • Maintain and update documentation related to IAM processes and access records. 
  • Work with IT and business stakeholders to troubleshoot simple access issues. 
  • Support audit and compliance activities by preparing basic access reports or logs. 
  • Assist the team with testing and configuration tasks for IAM tools when required. 
  • Ensure all tasks follow security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Required to participate in 24/7 standby/on‑call support to respond to identity‑related incidents and requests as needed.
  • Respond to IAM‑related incidents during standby/on‑call hours as required.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in IT Operations or IAM-related roles, preferably in financial institutions or related industries

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux user administration.
  • Experience in IAM solutions and integration (e.g. PowerShell, Java, Shell Scripting, REST).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures accurately and consistently.
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts or standby as part of a support rotation.
