BCS is NETS’ wholly owned subsidiary, and is an entity within the NETS Group. It manages and operates clearing and payment infrastructure for the Singapore Automated Clearing House, including Fast And Secure Transfers (FAST), Inter-bank GIRO (IBG), Cheque Truncation System (CTS), and provides services for PayNow and SGQR Central Repository.

 

Position Summary

BCS Management Information Systems (MIS) provides first level end point (laptop and workstation) support and technical assistance for all users. 

The intern will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and repairs of computer hardware and diagnosis of software issues. 


Key Responsibilities

• Provide first level troubleshooting and maintenance of end point (laptop and workstation)
• Install and set up of new end point (laptop and workstation)
• Administer user account which includes account creation, deletion and unlocking in the windows active directory
• Work with users on laptop and workstation handover
• Participate in any project work and process improvements

 

Requirements

• Current Polytechnic/ University students from Information Technology/ Computer Science faculty
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Possess basic hardware/software knowledge for first level troubleshooting
• Has basic knowledge of windows active directory user account management
• Able to install and set up new laptop and workstation
