The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 

 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

 

Position Summary

 

  • Assist in the coordination, tracking and follow-up on action items of business & information security projects and initiatives.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project plans, status reports, and dashboards.
  • Help prepare documentation for steering committee meetings and program reviews.
  • Work with stakeholders to collect and consolidate updates on business & information security projects and initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Technical Capabilities

 

  • Conduct research on emerging technologies (e.g. Quantum Cryptography etc.).
  • Work with industry security consultants to perform security testings, code reviews and cloud standardization.
  • Monitor and summarize updates to regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS TRM, CSA advisories etc.) and assess their implications for ongoing programs.

 

Planning & Resourcing

 

  • Support the consolidation of information security project proposals and resource needs for the upcoming year’s cybersecurity workplan.
  • Help draft presentation materials, executive summaries, and budget justifications for new initiatives.

 
Requirements

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Security, or a related field. 
  • Strong interest in Information Security and eagerness to develop knowledge and practical experience in the field. 
  • Basic understanding of computer systems and networks is an advantage.


Skills and Knowledge

 

  • Interest and foundational knowledge in Information Security concepts and practices.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure. 
  • Good communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take initiative. 
  • Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
