BCS is NETS’ wholly owned subsidiary, and is an entity within the NETS Group. It manages and operates clearing and payment infrastructure for the Singapore Automated Clearing House, including Fast And Secure Transfers (FAST), Inter-bank GIRO (IBG), Cheque Truncation System (CTS), and provides services for PayNow and SGQR Central Repository.
Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Service Management (ITSM) Intern to join our dynamic IT team. The ITSM Intern will support our IT Service Management processes, tools, and functions, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of IT Services. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a professional setting, with exposure to various aspects of IT Service Management.
Responsibilities:
1. Incident Management
- Coordinate technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure swift resolution.
- Perform analysis to identify incident trends.
- Review incidents to ensure that they are documented correctly as per the Incident Management process.
- Track and report all Incident Management in accordance to KPIs.
- Drive performance improvement efforts based on incident analysis and data.
2. ITSM Tool Support
- Provide support for ITSM tools and platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Assist in user training and onboarding for ITSM tools.
3. Reporting and Analytics
- Coordinate, consolidate, generate and distribute regular reports on ITSM metrics and KPIs.
- Assist in the analysis of IT service performance data.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT Service Management principles (e.g., ITIL framework).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ITIL v4 or previous versions.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components (e.g., servers, networks, databases).
