IT Tech Ops Intern

Team and Position Summary

We are looking for driven and curious interns to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a real enterprise environment. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about automation, DevOps, observability and asset discovery. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintain Python scripts for automation and operational tasks
• Assist in working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) in a hybrid environment
• Support DevSecOps activities (e.g., scripting, CI/CD exposure, deployments)
• Contribute to observability initiatives (monitoring, logging using Elastic & Dynatrace)
• Participate in asset discovery and reconciliation
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase
• Work on small projects or improvements that add real value
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different domains

Education and Experience 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Basic hands-on experience with or strong interest in Python programming for automation. 
• Basic understanding of AWS/cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM) is an advantage. 
• Exposure to or interest in DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and workflow management. 
• Available to commence internship from January 2027, Full Time.

Skills and Knowledge

• Foundational knowledge of Python scripting and automation concepts.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly AWS services.
• Interest in DevSecOps, observability tools, and IT operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
