Position Summary
The IAM Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function within the organization. This role ensures the secure and efficient management of user identities, access privileges, and authentication mechanisms. The IAM Team Lead will guide a team of IAM professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance the organization's security posture and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IAM team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement IAM strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the administration of user access, roles, and permissions across systems and applications.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and audit controls.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and business units to streamline IAM processes and improve user experience.
- Manage IAM tools and technologies, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
- Monitor and respond to IAM-related incidents, risks, and vulnerabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in IAM operations and governance.
- Prepare and present reports on IAM metrics, performance, and compliance status to senior management.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM or cybersecurity roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to the financial sector in Singapore, including MAS guidelines, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, and other relevant data protection and access control standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM).
- Experience in cloud IAM solutions and integrations (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM).
- Project management experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
