The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

The position of Intern is project based where he/she will support the evaluation of new business verticals to value add our merchants.

He/She will report to the Head of Merchant Business on the day-to-day assigned work scope.

Key Responsibilities

1. Busines & Product Development
   1. Research data and insights to support identified new business opportunities.
   2. Develop and manage business requirements with cross functional teams.
   3. Engage internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility on new features/changes requests.
   4. Assess market trends to ensure product validity.
   5. Supports the development of the responsible product's strategic roadmap with key market research.

Requirements

• We are looking for fresh graduates/graduating candidates in the relevant course of study.
• Has demonstrated keen interest in the payment business and landscape (competitive offerings and industry trends).
• Strong presentation and engagement skills with ability to develop and cultivate relationships with a variety of business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and articulation skills.
• Strong conceptual, critical thinking and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills.
• Highly skilled in using - MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
• Should have good project management/coordination skills.
