The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Technology Governance is part of the Risk Management line 1.5 defense, working with the respective IT risk owners to ensure controls are effective and managed. The intern will support the Technology Governance team in implementing governance frameworks, monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, and strengthening risk management practices. This role offers exposure to regulatory compliance, governance processes, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement within a technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare data-driven governance reports by extracting and analysing data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and maintain tracking logs or dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to monitor remediation actions and governance metrics.
  • Automate repetitive governance tasks (e.g., data extraction, report generation) using scripting or low-code tools.
  • Support risk assessments by identifying technology risks, evaluating controls, and using data analytics to detect patterns or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with technology and business teams to gather data, validate findings, and support compliance reviews.
