Intern - Online Payments

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for assisting the Online Payments Business & Product Management Team in strategic analysis of the local online payments industry, and aid in the conceptual design of a new online payment gateway.

• Research and analyse local online payment gateway market to build competitive market intelligence, including product features and pricing models available

• Conduct market surveys to validate product concepts, configurations and pricing models and identify winning propositions for market gaps that NETS can fill

• Support the review of NETS’ Online Payments Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the drafting of SOPs for the new Online Payment Gateway

• Support BAU Product Management activities for eNETS, NETS Click, NETS QR Online and Value Added Services (Inbound Cross Border wallets)

Requirements

• Fintech or IT related certifications are a plus

• General knowledge of payment gateways and payments processing will be an advantage

• Ability to conduct deep research and analysis into assigned topics

• Curiosity to question norms, and independence to find new ways of doing things are valued traits
