BCS is NETS’ wholly owned subsidiary, and is an entity within the NETS Group. It manages and operates clearing and payment infrastructure for the Singapore Automated Clearing House, including Fast And Secure Transfers (FAST), Inter-bank GIRO (IBG), Cheque Truncation System (CTS), and provides services for PayNow and SGQR Central Repository.

Position Summary 

The Business Management Office will help the BCS CEO to drive strategic alignment across different divisions in BCS, oversee the planning and execution of strategic projects, strengthen the organization capabilities, and monitor critical deliverables.

The Lead Associate, BMO role will support the Head of BMO, Division Heads, and BCS CEO on key strategic priorities and enterprise initiatives. The incumbent will help to drive structure, clarity, and execution across CEO‑sponsored focus areas, while ensuring disciplined follow‑through and effective coordination across the organisation.

The role combines strategic support, execution tracking, and structured support for senior leadership forums. It is suited to someone who is comfortable operating across ambiguity, engaging with senior stakeholders, and converting strategic direction into tangible progress.

 

Key Responsibilities

CEO Strategic Priorities & Enterprise Initiatives

  • Support the CEO and senior leadership on selected strategic focus areas, which may include (but are not limited to):
    • Pricing and cost optimisation initiatives
    • Technology‑enabled business initiatives and digital transformation efforts
    • Cross‑functional priorities requiring CEO‑level sponsorship
  • Help structure problem statements, frame key issues, and synthesise inputs from multiple stakeholders
  • Prepare high‑quality briefing materials, discussion papers, and summaries to support senior‑level discussions and decision‑making
  • Track progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies across key initiatives, surfacing issues that require senior leadership attention
  • Support alignment and coordination across functions to maintain momentum and ensure delivery against agreed priorities

Senior Leadership Committees & Forum Support

  • Provide end‑to‑end support for selected Board, management, and working committees sponsored by the CEO or senior leadership
  • Work closely with forum chairpersons and senior stakeholders to:
    • Develop clear, outcome‑oriented agendas aligned to strategic objectives
    • Distinguish between decision, discussion, and information items
    • Ensure forums are purposeful, well‑structured, and decision‑focused
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to source, consolidate, and quality‑check meeting materials
  • Support meeting logistics where required to ensure smooth conduct of forums
  • Attend meetings and produce accurate, concise, and formal minutes, clearly documenting:
    • Key discussion points
    • Decisions taken
    • Action items, owners, and agreed timelines

Execution Tracking & Follow‑Through

  • Maintain oversight of actions and commitments arising from CEO‑level discussions and senior leadership forums
  • Proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely progress and closure of agreed actions
  • Identify delays, risks, or misalignment and escalate appropriately to maintain execution discipline
  • Provide structured tracking and transparent reporting across multiple concurrent priorities

Quality, Discipline & Ways of Working

  • Ensure clarity, quality, and consistency across all outputs from the Business Management Office
  • Maintain organised records of agendas, materials, minutes, decisions, and action trackers
  • Continuously refine templates, formats, and working approaches to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in senior leadership forums and enterprise‑level decision‑making

 

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology or a related field
  • Around 5 years of relevant work experience in a Chief of Staff office, Business Management Office, or similar roles; candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong relevance and capability

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience supporting CEO‑level or senior leadership agendas in a corporate environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex topics clearly and professionally
  • Highly proactive, dependable, and comfortable operating with ambiguity
  • Structured thinker with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and follow‑through
  • Strong ability to operate across strategy development, execution tracking, and stakeholder coordination
  • Confidence and maturity in engaging with senior stakeholders and driving actions to completion
  • Professional, discreet, and trusted with sensitive and confidential matters
  • Able to work independently while remaining closely aligned to CEO priorities
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise wide or cross functional initiatives
  • Exposure to technology or digital initiatives is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated industry is preferred
  • Consulting experience (e.g. strategy or transformation) is an advantage but not required
