Management Information System Engineer (L2)

BCS is NETS’ wholly owned subsidiary, and is an entity within the NETS Group. It manages and operates clearing and payment infrastructure for the Singapore Automated Clearing House, including Fast And Secure Transfers (FAST), Inter-bank GIRO (IBG), Cheque Truncation System (CTS), and provides services for PayNow and SGQR Central Repository.

BCS, a wholly owned subsidiary of NETS and part of the NETS Group, manages and operates the clearing and payment infrastructure for the Singapore Automated Clearing House. This includes services such as Fast and Secure Transfers (FAST), Inter-bank GIRO (IBG), and the Cheque Truncation System (CTS). BCS also supports PayNow and the SGQR Central Repository, among other services.

Responsibilites:

Endpoint & Device Management

 

  • Administer endpoints using Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Manage and administer Active Directory services, including user access control and account management, while maintaining server Organizational Unit (OU) structures to enforce security hardening policies.
  • Ensure adherence to device compliance policies
  • Introduce data security controls (leveraging Trellix where possible) along with endpoint defense solutions (EDR/AV)
  • Implement and support secure remote access including VPN and Zero Trust models

 

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

 

Manage Active Directory & Azure AD (Entra ID) including:

  • User provisioning/de-provisioning (Join/Move/Leave process)
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies

Least privilege access and segregation of duties

 

L2 Technical Support & Incident Resolution

 

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Windows systems, corporate servers network and enterprise applications within our corporate environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Windows 10/11 platforms and virtual desktops (VDI) where applicable
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues
  • Provide end-user technical support both onsite and remotely

 

Microsoft 365 (M365) Administration & Support

 

Support and administer the following:

  • Exchange Online, including mail flow, mailbox permissions, and archiving
  • Microsoft Teams, including secure collaboration and policy administration
  • SharePoint Online and OneDrive, including access control and data sharing governance
  • Troubleshoot mails delay, phishing, safe links, and attachment security issues
  • Ensure compliance with data protection standards and financial regulatory requirements

 

IT Operations & Service Management

 

  • Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and auditors to deliver high-quality IT support.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and internal service management standards.
  • Assist with and oversee the installation and maintenance of hardware and software, in coordination with vendors where required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely server and asset inventory records.
  • Plan and execute monthly patching of server firmware, operating systems, and software across the corporate network.
  • Ensure Windows systems, servers, and business-critical software remain healthy, secure and operational.

 

Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing and supporting on-premises infrastructure, windows server environments, and enterprise end-user computing platforms.

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in desktop engineering, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory administration, user lifecycle management, and access control principles.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, virtual machines, and related infrastructure issues.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security controls, encryption technologies, VPN, and Zero Trust access models.
  • Good understanding of patch management, system hardening, asset management, and IT service management processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, vendors, and auditors.
