The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

 

Undertakes assigned job duties as it pertains to the Merchant Services Team. The Merchant Services officer needs to constantly communicate with merchants in getting relevant information / documents for merchant profile screening and application processing purpose.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Communicate with merchants over calls and emails regarding applications of products & services provided
  • Merchant engagement in getting relevant information / documents as part of merchant KYC / merchant screening engagement
  • Problem solving and handling of assigned ad-hoc duties
  • Handle and provide administrative assistance to Sales & Channels department as required
  • Assisting in data extraction, data entry and data validation

 

Requirements

 

  • Diploma & above
  • Minimum one year of experience in a dynamic working environment is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task & meticulous, well-organized with good time management skills
  • Experience in processes and record -keeping
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to meeting timelines
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environment and frequent dynamic request from managers
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player with strong work ethics and principle
  • With problem-solving skills
