POS Terminal Tester (6 months contract)

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

The POS tester will report to QA Lead. He/She will participate in NETS payment terminal testing and support as part of solution delivery, to enable payment between Merchant and Consumer with NETS terminal. He/She will be responsible to ensure quality software delivered and support documentation required as part of testing and implementation. 

Responsibilities:

• Able to follow and execute pre-defined test cases  
• Identify software issue when the result is not as expected outcome, document the steps and report the issues / bugs to QA Lead/ Developer.
• Document and capture test result for reporting and documentation
• Collaborate with a team of testers
• Perform other testing related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or any related courses
• Have basic computing skills and able to operate word / excel documents
• Detail oriented and proactive
• Good communication skills and able to present information effectively
• Basic experience with software testing and quality assurance would be advantageous
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
