NETS Solutions is NETS’ wholly owned subsidiary. It develops payment infrastructure and transaction processing solutions for central banks, banks and clearing houses in Singapore and the region.

 

Position Summary
The Consultant will play a pivotal role in driving system transformation and business optimization for our clients. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their business processes, objectives, and pain points, and translating these insights into actionable business and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will lead discovery sessions, perform gap assessments, and facilitate stakeholder alignment meetings to ensure that solutions are tailored to meet customer needs and strategic goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Elicitation

  • Lead discovery sessions to assess customer business processes, objectives, and pain points, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Perform gap assessments to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired outcomes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment meetings to prioritize and validate requirements, while advocating for industry best practices.

Solution Design & Translation

  • Convert business requirements into actionable technical specifications and digital transformation roadmaps.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to design solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

Requirements Management & Documentation

  • Develop clear, concise documentation (e.g., business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories) for clients and technical teams.
  • Secure formal sign-offs on deliverables to ensure alignment and accountability across stakeholders.

Workshop Facilitation & Training Delivery

  • Design and execute tailored workshops for requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution validation.
  • Deliver product training sessions and create user manuals, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to empower clients and internal teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Development, Sales, and Customer Support teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, translating user expectations into actionable tasks.

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Develop test plans, cases, and traceability matrices to validate solution integrity and compliance with requirements.
  • Execute testing phases, analyze results, and manage defect resolution to ensure timely and robust deliverables.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or a related field.
  • Domain knowledge and experience in financial industry/payments systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business processes and identify gaps.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies, as well as experience with digital solutions and technologies.
  • Ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed and professional documentation, including business requirement documents, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Experience in conducting workshops, training sessions, and creating training materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and experience in developing test plans, cases, and managing defect resolution.
  • A strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and take initiative to address them.
