The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain.
The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.
Position Summary
This role in the Product & Business Compliance department focuses on these primary products under the Team:
- Transformation Initiatives
- Cross Border Products
- Bank/Regulatory Related Products
He/she will report to the VP Consumer Business on the day-to-day product development of these products. The incumbent will also be exposed to NETS product development methodology and is expected to follow the processes/methodology to ensure that products are developed/managed with compliance and excellence in mind.
The incumbent will also play a key role in supporting strategic planning and execution within the division. This role involves analyzing business performance, preparing reports and forecasts, and assisting in the development of business plans. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, the role will contribute ideas that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation within the Consumer Business segment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Enhancement
- Develop and manage business requirements with cross functional teams
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility on new features/changes requests
- Conduct user acceptance test to ensure the product is developed or enhanced according to requirements
- Monitor financial performance of the responsible product
- Assess market trends to ensure product validity
- Manage incidents/escalations from contact centre
- Product data/analytics management reporting
- Provide support to sales and servicing team on product related materials and queries
- Conduct training to internal stakeholders such as Contact Centre, Operations and Sales/Servicing teams for new product launches or enhancements
- Manage the necessary documentation to support service operations
- Maintain Product Management Policy and Product Risk Management
- Update and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
- Perform regression testing across systems and collaborate with the UAT team where required
- Facilitate submission of reports and documentation to the Public Transport Council and other regulatory authorities
- Develop test plans, test cases, and conduct live service verification
- Prepare and maintain service management documentation to support product development
Vendor Management
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and service quality
Business Analysis & Planning
- Support the development and execution of annual and long-term business plans for the Consumer Business segment
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to track business performance against targets
- Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align with strategic objectives
- Prepare presentations and dashboards for management reviews and stakeholder updates
- Develop business models for key Consumer Business initiatives
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives
- Participate in special projects such as market research, feasibility studies, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of business planning activities and project deliverables
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in business analysis, operations, or project support roles

- Demonstrated interest in the payments industry, with awareness of market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory landscapes
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders
- Excellent communication and articulation skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking abilities, with a proven track record in problem-solving and proposing innovative solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with the ability to prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations effectively
- Good project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
