The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented relationship manager to join our team to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with strategic merchants to drive business growth. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic business planning, customer engagement, and campaign management within the fintech industry. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio management of strategic accounts 

  • Build & maintain positive relationships with clients, promote merchant satisfaction
  • Act as the main point of contact for escalations and assist in problem-solving
  • Identify new business opportunities by promoting new products and services or offering tailored solutions based on client’s needs (working with product and tech team)
  • Plan marketing campaigns to boost NETS usage
  • Arrange senior management meetings for account reviews
  • Prepare and give presentation to internal stakeholders

 

2. Business development on mid-tier to large merchants to achieve incremental NETS revenue

  • Secure new clients or grow existing clients, cold calling may be required
  • Plan marketing campaigns with existing merchant to boost NETS usage
  • Prepare proposals to prospective clients

 

3. Management of 1-2 project initiatives for the team

  • Such as, handling SOP, BCP or Project-based initiatives

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Goal-oriented and proven sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Team player with strong work ethics and principle 
  • Meticulous, diligent, well-organized with good time management skills
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environment and frequent dynamic request
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
