The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

 

Position Overview

 

The Security Engineering team is responsible for implementing defense-in-depth security architecture for the organization. As a member of the team, the intern will be expected to contribute in the development and delivery of projects that improve the security posture of the organization.

Through this experience, the intern will be exposed to various security architecture layers and a good appreciation of one or more security technologies, as well as an understanding of the industry best practices of financial services industry in the implementation of security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist the Security Engineering team in overall delivery of key Information Security projects.
  • Assist in project reporting for proper governance of security projects.
  • Work with vendors in troubleshooting project implementation issues.
  • Conduct research in various fields of Security Engineering technologies.
  • Support the team in handling BAU Security Engineering tasks.

 

Requirements

 

  • Undergraduate pursuing Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or IT Security related disciplines.
  • Any IT Security or IT related certifications (CCNA, CEH, etc) is a major plus.
  • Knowledge of current security events and a demonstrated passion to stay informed of current industry trends.
