The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

The incumbent is primarily responsible for bank-related matters which includes cashflow monitoring and fund sufficiency, preparing bank reconciliations, drafting investment proposal, bankers’ guarantee issuance and other duties as per assigned. This is a group role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for cash flow, banking facilities, float requirements, fixed deposits, treasury bills and cash vouchers.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on the reconciling items, if any
  • Daily monitoring and management of cash flow requirements
  • Prepare bank access forms for review
  • Prepare corporate card forms for review
  • Support operations on banking matters
  • Manage relationships with banks and assist with bank compliance matters
  • Assist with compliance, tax and audit matters
  • Support preparation of month end closing entries and perform year-end procedures
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsible for raising purchase requisition for Finance team
  • Continuously review internal controls and processes for areas of improvement
  • Support ad-hoc projects, reporting and analysis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma, majoring in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e Lookup, Pivot, Power Query) and SAP is an advantage
  • Attention to detail with ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Good time management skills and a passion for continuous improvement
