Senior Data Manager

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

We are seeking a Senior Data Manager who is an experienced professional responsible for overseeing the collection, management, and analysis of data within our organization. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security while developing strategies to optimize data management processes. The role is expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and provide insights that drive business objectives. The ideal candidate should be abreast of industry trends and advancements in data technology to implement best practices and innovative solutions, ensuring our organization's data infrastructure remains robust and efficient. 

Key Responsiblity

• Data Oversight: Manage data collection, storage, and systems; ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Strategy & Governance: Develop data management policies; lead governance and compliance efforts.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with infrastructure teams, project managers, and vendors; train staff on data practices.
• Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data for insights; support data-driven decision-making.
• System Maintenance: Design, troubleshoot, and optimize databases; support migrations and upgrades.
• Leadership: Manage and mentor a data team; prioritize and oversee data-related projects.
• Pipeline/Demand Management: Prioritize and manage data-related requests and projects

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data management or a similar role
• Proven experience with data governance, data quality management, and data architecture
