The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for developing the organization’s strategic muscle and capability. He/She needs to advise businesses and implement relevant solutions and initiatives in order to help the organization progress in the right direction to achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

 

Key Responsibilities

•    Align strategic initiatives to value creation: Lead strategic discussions, from strategy design to implementation, in relation to the NETS Group’s corporate strategy to help transform Singapore’s financial landscape as well as create value to businesses and consumers
•    Solve problems based on facts: Conduct in-depth, factual and quantitative analysis for any recommendations to ensure strategic alignment and financial soundness; leverage network and personal knowledge to source required information internally and externally
•    Drive execution: Work with key stakeholders to execute transformational programs and strategic projects core to the NETS Group’s strategy, including communication with Senior Management and tracking business results post-implementation
•    Tell a great story: Drive clear and succinct communications across the NETS Group’s executives and senior management; ensure a logical and compelling story is professional presented with attention to key insights, impact, and necessary details.
•    Create synergy for the NETS Group: Be the central nervous system of strategic projects across businesses within the Group to minimize conflict and drive cross-projects synergy 

 

Requirements

•    The applicant should hold a Bachelor degree in business-related discipline with minimum four years of professional experience in management consulting, internal strategy, or business management, and involved in projects related to banking and finance industry
•    Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple work streams across a broad spectrum of business issues and appropriately prioritizing activities to deliver to tight timeline
•    Effective communication to build awareness, generate buy-in and shift organizational mindset
•    Brilliant interpersonal and leadership skills to build rapport and influence business decisions across the business leaders
•    Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
