Software Developer/Tester Intern (Automation development & Testing Support)

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

The Software Developer/Tester (intern) will report to the Technical Manager. He/She will participate in the application delivery and support testing for customers and will be responsible for automation tool development, testing and implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

•    Develop testing automation tools, application simulator and perform technical documentation.
•    Develop test plans for unit testing and system integration testing.
•    Collaborate with a larger project team and execute system integration testing.
•    Participate in troubleshooting to resolve issues reported.
•    Willing to learn and contribute with fresh innovative ideas.

Requirements

•    Polytechnic or University students with skillset in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•    Knowledge and hands on experience on Java development and testing tools development is a strong advantage.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills.
•    Self-motivated and possess strong analytical skills, sharp and meticulous.
•    Strong interpersonal skills and good time management skills.
•    Deeply passionate about software development and testing.
