Software Developer/Tester Intern (Grow & Transform)

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

The Software Developer/Tester (intern) will report to the Technical Manager. He/She will participate in the application delivery and support testing for customers and will be responsible for application development, testing and implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop testing automation tools, application simulator and perform technical documentation.
• Develop test plan for unit testing and system integration testing.
• Collaborate with larger project team and execute system integration testing.
• Participate in troubleshooting to resolve issues reported.
• Willing to learn and contribute with fresh innovative ideas.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master/PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge and hands on experience on Java development and testing tools development is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot Framework is an advantage.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and possess strong analytical skills, sharp and meticulous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good time management skills.
• Deeply passionate about software development and testing.
• Able to commit to 6 months internship (3 months can be considered)
