VP- Cybersecurity Advisory Specialist

Being a leading payment infrastructure provider in Singapore, NETS develops and operates many mission-critical financial services that is used by the population in Singapore.  We are seeking an experienced and skilled ITSec professional to assume the role of Business Project Security Advisory with IS Program Management Office (IS PMO).  The successful candidate plays a critical role in helping to ensure “Security By Design” principles are closely adhered to in the design and implementation of these financial services and they are completed on time within budget and compliant to the regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct assessment, review security designs and provide tailored security requirements & solutions where appropriate, to various financial services projects/initiatives.  Provide defence and explanations to the soundness of the security design of the systems and recommend enhancements to improve overall security posture where necessary.
2. Overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of security activities for projects, ensuring timely completion by managing and controlling project risks, issues and changes. 
3. Monitor and report on project progress, performance and budget.
4. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including project sponsors, cross team members, external business partners and vendors to ensure the success and security of system implementations.
5. Provide security advice to senior management to steer security strategies and manage and co-approve organisational security budget and expenses and vendor relationships.
6. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation and excellence within the team.

Requirment: 

• 8 years+ of security experience with 3+ years in advisory role
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices and technologies with solid understanding of security architecture, application, security processes and industry security frameworks.
• Familiarity with various payment and Card specifications, standards and protocols is an advantage.
• Familiarity with MAS TRM, PCI DSS & NIST is a must.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Security related fields.
• Security certifications such CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, AWS Certified Security - Specialty are highly desirable.
