Big Data,/Power BI Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking a big data/power BI engineer to join our data analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of our database infrastructure, including collecting and maintaining data, ensuring the integrity of our data, and creating and training data models. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide platform administrative support for Power BI and Big Data.
• Provide design, deployment of power BI templates for target users group
• Manage and maintain Power BI Fabric, including creating and maintaining self-service workspaces and deployments.
• Provide L2 support to identify the root cause of Power BI and Big Data job failures and implement solutions.
• Collaborate closely with and support the Users Data Analytics team in development, UAT, and production rollouts.
• Perform upgrades and technical refresh for Power BI and Big Data.
• Provide ongoing operational support.
• Adhere to operational SOPs for support; ITSM is being deployed at the net’s office.

Qualifications 

• Major/specialization in Data Analytics
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in an analytics-focused role
• Highly adaptable initiative-taker willing to utilize innovative technology to improve tools and processes
• Experienced in using SharePoint for MS automated workflows, including PowerAutomate and PowerApps
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with practical experience in financial or statistical modelling and quantitative analysis of large datasets
• Self-starter who can responsibly advance work and is comfortable making sound, well-informed judgement calls for progress
