Position Summary
The incumbent is responsible for performing general accounting duties to support the Head of Finance (NETS MY).

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full sets of accounts for NETS MY Sdn Bhd and NETS Solutions MY Branch

  • Prepare monthly intercompany recharging in accordance with transfer pricing policy

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and follow up on the outstanding items, if any

  • Review the reasonableness of financials before closing the monthly books

  • Prepare monthly flux analysis for management

  • Prepare timely SST submission to IRB

  • Prepare tax and deferred tax computation at year-end and ensure timely filing of taxes to tax authorities

  • Conduct petty cash counts and fixed asset sightings

  • Liaise with tax agent to claim withholding tax back from IRB

  • Assist with auditor requests and drafting of the annual financial reports

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, accounting standards, statutory authority and audit requirements

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

 

  • Degree, majoring in Accountancy or ACCA

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting or Big 4 audit firm. Audit experience will be advantageous.

  • A self-starter, with good problem-solving skills and attention to details
