Field Services Technician

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 
 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for installation, retrieval and troubleshooting of terminals at merchant sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and deployment of terminals
• Support the retrieval and replacement of terminals
• Support fault call servicing
• Perform the configuration and download the parameter in accordance to the merchant’s requirement
• Upgrading of NETS terminals on-site
• Briefing of Merchant on usage of NETS terminals, and queries by the merchant on the functionalities of the payment terminals
• Troubleshoot and Service NETS terminals on-site, including ECR connectivity issue, network related issue, and transaction error
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors requirements
• Role needs interaction with mandarin speaking merchants, proficiency in mandarin will be an advantage

Requirements

• Diploma / Higher Nitec / GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ level
• Class 2B License or Class  3 Driving license (Both minimum 2 years)
• Work on shift and Weekends as per work schedule/overtime if require
• A team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• On job training will be provided
